Product Description

The SY-4KS from CYP is a HDMI Scaler which will upscale 1080P @ 24 signals to 4K UHD resolution (Ultra High Definition).

Alternatively it will downscale UHD 4K signals to 1080p@24 for integration of 4K signals into a standard resolution AV system. Downscaling of 4K resolution to 1080p is essential for integration of 4K AV sources into complex or multi-source / multi-output AV systems where some rooms / outputs require the 4K resolution of a 4K source, whereas other rooms / display outputs require the signal without the UHD resolution.

The CYP SY-4KS allows the integrator or user to select the highest commonly supported resolution between source and display ensuring maximum compatibility in the AV system.

The SY4KS Scaler features 2 x HDMI outputs – one of which is a bypass (input follows output), and the second HDMI output is scaled (either up or down, dependent on system requirements). The scaled HDMI output can be set in one of three modes; upscale to 4K, downscale from 4K or as a simple bypass output.

Both the bypass and scaled outputs operate simultaneously.
