The 9160345S is a two-in-one secured Contactless Bluetooth & RFID Reader Independent Access Control Unit which allows for access to electronically secured doors using an RFID card or Bluetooth enabled smart phone as the user ID device.
The 9160345S offers compatibility with 2N's unique cryptographic solution PICard. PICard provides Protected Identity Credentials (PIC) built on the multi-application MIFARE® DESFire® technology.
The 2N 9160345S Access Unit's dual-authentication formats allow for one or both formats to be required for entry into a building. For instance, some Users may be required to identify using Bluetooth only, others with RFID only. In higher security applications, both user authentication formats may be required per user to gain access.
The 9160345S features new secured technology, transitioning from easy-to-copy unsecured 125kHz technology to the more secure 13.56MHZ.
The 9160345S Unit provides a modern approach alongside a safe and convenient way to unlock doors. Using a Bluetooth-enabled smart phone or tablet with the 2N Mobile Key application this module also provides versatility with an RFID technology to allow entry from secured 13.65MHz cards. Users have the option of entry and organisations/residents can obtain temporary access to the compound. Communication between the Bluetooth module and the 2N Mobile Key application is fully secured through asymmetric RSA-1024 and symmetric AES-128 keys. This application runs in the background on your phone in order to save your phone’s battery.
Protection Rating:
The 2N Access Unit 2.0 range has a protection rating of IP54 and IK08 - ensuring it's suitability for outdoor and harsh environment applications.
