The 2N 9160346S secured combined Touch Keypad & RFID Reader Independent Access Unit is equipped with a highly sensitive, capacitive touch digital keypad which enables access to a building via the entered PIN number or the RFID card reader with optional secured card for dual-access to a building/room.
The 9160346S offers compatibility with 2N's unique cryptographic solution PICard. PICard provides Protected Identity Credentials (PIC) built on the multi-application MIFARE® DESFire® technology.
The 9160346S features new secured technology, transitioning from easy-to-copy unsecured 125kHz technology to the more secure 13.56MHZ.
The 9160346S multi-frequency Touch Keypad & RFID reader allows for the use of secured 13.56MHz new smart cards. The ability to use a choice of keypad (used via PIN code for access to the building as well as for calling individual users) or RFID card for entry, makes the system much more effective for those who need swift entry but also allows the flexibility for specified and temporary access to the compound without compromising security.
The brightness of the touchscreen can be adjusted to suit numerous locations and environments ensuring visibility even at night or in places with minimum lighting. A Silent alarm activation feature provides increased security.
The 2N 9160346S unit is designed for use indoors or in protected outdoor areas and is ideal for office buildings, residential complexes, hospitals, educational establishments, business centres, hotels and other accommodation, etc.
