8" 150W RMS 8ohm Polypropolene Music Cabinet Loudspeaker, Black

The Titan8B Wharfedale Pro Speaker in Black is part of the Titan Passive Professional Speaker range. The 180W 8 inch speaker utilises Wharfedale's Class D technology brings lightness to a powerful system, much lighter than it's predecessors.

The Titan8B has been created using the Q-bit technology, precise and powerful 28/56-bit 192KHz DSP processing, heavy duty cast frame woofer, titanium compressor to produce smooth sound delivery with wide dispersion of mid and high frequencies expected through the Titan Range of speakers.

This lightweight ultra-portable compact speaker lends itself to several applications such as:
• Bar Area Installations
• DJ Monitoring
• Band Monitoring

Titan Portablility:
The 180W Titan8B Passive Wharfedale Cabinet is the smallest speaker in the series, though small does not equal less. This speaker is a mixture of portability and power, with an unexpected depth for an 8” speaker. The ergonomic appearance & shape along with a polypropylene shell containing internal laminar flow rib patterns create a strong sound. Its compact size renders it ideal in the mobile DJ, public address and live band applications. This 8" model has frequency wide frequency response where the low end is low and clear and has tuned bass ports.


Titan installation (indoor/outdoor):
The Titan Passive Series boasts to be one of Wharfedale's most lightweight professional loudspeakers to date. The Class D technology, bi-amplification and rugged build has resulted in a wide range of applications and environments.


Elliptical Wave Guide:
Wharfedale has undergone intensive computer modeling of natural acoustic enhancement and created a 90° x 60° high frequency elliptical horn design. Hard edges and corners were eliminated to create a more ergonomic and acoustically transparent high-frequency pattern control whilst enabling quality and frequency of sound. Sound if smoother, reduces high frequency distortion & diffraction resulting in smoother frequency response, greater driver efficiency and improved vocal and instument reproduction.



Ports:
There are 2 reflex tuned ports on the front of the Titan Series that provides an enhanced low frequency response from the enclosure.
