As with all Atlas high quality, long lasting microphone stands, the Atlas MS25 heavy-duty studio recording stand features durable cold-rolled steel tubing, the Atlas Sound wearproof clutch, and a cast iron base. In addition, the MS25 is fitted with an integral air suspension system to protect sensitive microphones if the clutch is released too quickly.
Height extension from 96 up to 170 mm (38 to 67 inch) is achieved by an oversized 7/8 inch and 1 1/8 inch diameter tube assembly.
The triangular die cast base provides maximum stability and includes sculptured sides, black finish, and decorative chrome cover.
The Atlas MS25E micrphone stand tube is finished in black.
The toughness and durability of Atlas stands are legendary. Fall Out Boy’s bassist Pete Wentz testifies to their strength and durability, "We get onstage and thrash and Atlas mic stands are awesome because they hold up. All summer on the Warped tour, I made my best attempt to break them and they would not break."
In addition, William Beckett, vocalist for The Academy, remarks "I was breaking a lot of mic stands that belonged to the clubs. [...] there really is no comparison. We’re thrilled to be using Atlas at all our shows." William eventually chose Atlas MS-12 stands.
Voted Top 3 in the Music Critic Top Microphone Stands of 2019.
