Inter‑M’s RM‑VA1000 EVA System Remote Microphone Station is a compact, EN 54‑16 certified call station engineered for seamless integration with the EVAMATRIX Voice Alarm and Public Address platform.
Fully compliant with life‑safety standards, RM‑VA1000 supports both Voice Alarm (VA) mode for emergency evacuation and Public Address (PA) mode, with simple configuration via included kit components. This IP‑based station connects over shielded Cat5e/Cat6 cable with PoE‑style 24 VDC power input (or 230 VAC adapter in PA mode).
Featuring a 2.3‑inch OLED screen and intuitive navigation keys, RM‑VA1000 provides clear operator feedback during alarms, pre‑recorded ALARM/ALERT calls, and general paging. It includes a built‑in monitor speaker with volume control, and an AUX line input (comfort mode only) for stereo external audio sources, streamable over Dante‑based network zones .
RM‑VA1000 enables up to 128 networked microphone consoles in a single EVAMATRIX configuration, with a maximum of 4 units designated specifically for VA operation.
Designed for reliability, it features average repair time (MTTR) under 20 minutes and mean time to failure (MTTF) over 100,000 hours.
Network security and system health monitoring are assured via HTTPS, TLS 1.2, SHA‑256, SSL, AES‑256 and elliptic-curve cryptography, fully integrated with EVAMATRIX’s SNMP V2c fault reporting.
