The PUV-1602TXWP Wallplate Transmitter is a HDMI/VGA switch which allows uncompressed HDMI and VGA signals to be transmitted via HDBaseT over a Single CAT5e/6/7 cable.
The PUV-1602TXWP has the additional features of analogue sound embedding, RS-232 and 2-way IR control functionality over the same CAT5e/6/7 cable. These HDMI and control signals can be transmitted up to lengths of 100 metres to a compatible PUV-1600 Series Receiver.
Additionally this unit supports automatic input detection between the HDMI and the VGA inputs utilising hot plug detection, offering the user 'hands free' control of the gadget.
Regardless of the 10.2Gbps bandwidth limitation of HDBaseT, this smart transmitter will automatically change signals of higher bandwidths guaranteeing any HDMI 4K signal can be passed through the HDBaseT system. The unit additionally includes push button control on the front of the panel. The unit is controlled by PoH provided by a compatible PUV-1600 series receiver.
The wall plate is intended to integrate inside a standard UK double gang back box.
