What do HDMI Converters & Scalers do?

Our HDMI converters are designed to convert digital HDMI to other signals such as analogue PC or SD/HD output, which enables you to connect between HDMI sources and other devices such as analogue PC display screen, projector or TV.

Some converters also include features such as scaling and other features like 3D noise reduction, frame rate conversion, adaptive contrast enhancement and On Screen Display (OSD) for easy adjustment to maximise the output display results.

Our up and down scalers are ideal for simply changing the resolution of the output signal, making it higher or lower than the original source. Many include extra features such as 24 fps support for high quality films and gaming, audio inputs and by pass outputs allowing you to watch HDMI whilst downscaling to analogue system integration or recording.
