Product Description
The Farpointe Data Delta5 is a slim, durable 13.56 MHz contactless smartcard reader for professional access control. It supports MIFARE families (incl. DESFire EV1/EV2 CSN), offers MAXSecure credential/reader handshake and ValidID fraudulent data detection, and integrates with industry-standard panels via Wiegand, ABA Track II (clock & data), or OSDP. A weather- and tamper-resistant epoxy-potted design (IP67) makes Delta5 suitable for indoor and outdoor installs.
In addition to its robust build, the Delta5 is designed for straightforward installation and seamless integration with existing access control systems. Its single-gang form factor allows quick mounting on standard wall boxes, while the multi-state LED and audible beeper provide clear user feedback during operation. Backed by Farpointe Data’s limited lifetime warranty, the Delta5 delivers long-term reliability and peace of mind for both installers and end users.
