Product Description
The STid Architect CORE Start Mullion Reader (Wiegand 26-bit) is engineered for fast, secure access control deployments where simplicity, reliability, and future scalability are essential. Delivered factory pre-configured, this mullion-format reader connects directly to existing access control panels using the industry-standard Wiegand 26-bit interface, eliminating the need for software setup or commissioning tools.
Built on open security principles, the CORE Start platform leverages MIFARE, DESFire, EV3 technology with AES encryption, Secure Messaging EV2, key diversification, and Proximity Check, providing robust protection against cloning, relay attacks, and data interception. This ensures a high-security access control solution suitable for modern commercial and critical infrastructure environments while remaining compatible with established systems.
Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, the slim mullion housing is IP65-rated (excluding connectors), IK10 impact-resistant, and UL294 certified, making it ideal for door frames, metal surfaces, and exposed installations.
