Product Description
The 2N 916201 is a contactless QR Code Access Reader which allows for access to electronically secured doors using a user-generated QR Code as a temporary or limited-use credential.
A QR code is a two-dimensional barcode storing data readable by either smartphone cameras or dedicated readers, such as an access unit or an intercom with a QR code scanner.
Unique QR codes can be generated quickly, specifying access parameters, time limits, and permitted doors or areas. Once generated, QR codes can be emailed directly to recipients, along with any instructions or directions needed for entry.
The 2N 916201 QR code reader scans and forwards the data to the access control system for confirmation – once given, the door unlocks.

As a standalone access control device, the 916201 also requires a cover plate (Silver Surface-mount Part No. 9155022 / Black Surface-mount Part No. 9155022B ). Power is supplied either via PoE or external power supply.
