Product Description
The CYP PU-2H8HBTE-AD HDBaseT Switch features 2 x HDMI inputs and 8 x HDBaseT 5Play outputs, plus an additional single HDMI output.
This 5Play HDBaseT Switch allows the user to choose from either of the two connected HDMI sources to be distributed to all 8 of the HDBaseT outputs, transmitting all signals via standard Cat5e/6/7 cable over distances of up to 100 metres per output channel.
The full 5Play functionality allows for the simultaneous transmission of HD / UHD video (resolutions up to 1080p and 4k Ultra High Definition), multi-channel audio, LAN serving and 2-way IR, RS-232 or Web GUI control signals to each of the HDBaseT display outputs via CatX cable.
The PU2H8HBTE-AD’s additional HDMI output supports the same video resolutions and high definition audio over HDMI cables to distances of up to 15 metres.
This 2 In, 8 Out HDBaseT Switch benefits from the additional functionality of Audio De-embedding, allowing easy audio integration within a larger AV system or direct connection to an AV receiver/amplifier. Audio outputs are via a single optical connection or an analogue stereo output.
The HDBaseT outputs of the PU-2H8HBTE-AD are designed for use with the following CYP HDBaseT receivers: PU-507RX and PU-507WPRX. These receivers support Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and, therefore, do not require separate PSUs for power.
The LAN Serving capabilities of the 4 x HDBaseT outputs can be used to add internet connectivity to their 4 display zones (ideal, for example, for application of Smart TVs to a multi-zone audio visual system).
