HDMI over CAT-X

CIE AV Solutions are experts in providing complete audio visual solutions to a variety of customers including businesses and professional installers. Our range of HDMI extenders allow high quality HDMI AV signals to be transmitted over greater distances over standard Cat5e / 6 / 7 cable and these innovative signal transmission converters.

HDMI Over CAT-X Extenders

With a HDMI extender you can increase the length of your audio visual transmissions by up to 80 metres, depending on the type of CAT cable you are using. We have HDMI extenders which work with a number of different Cat types including CAT5e, CAT6 and CAT7.

As well as extenders we have HDMI over CAT5/6 transmitters and receivers which can send and receive uncompressed HDMI signals and IP data over standard ethernet cable. Many also come with other functionalities such as RS-232 and 2-way IR control which run through the same CAT-X cable. This allows the signal to be boosted to further distances up to 100 metres.

We also provide HDMI expanders which provide a complete solution whether splitting, switching or extending. They are used to switch HDMI sources from up to four different devices such as DVD player, satellite receiver, digital recording device, digital set-top box or any other high definition source equipped with HDMI/DVI outputs.

Many of our HDMI extenders feature subtle differences which can make a big difference when it comes to providing the solution you are looking for.
