The
SY-XTREAM HDMI to USB video capture recorder can simultaneously distribute video resolutions up to 18Gbps (600MHz) 4K UHD with HDR while capturing (or re-broadcasting) the audio and video signal at 1080p on a PC/laptop. HDMI sources up to 1080p 60Hz are captured without scaling, while 4K sources will be automatically downscaled to 1080p.
A special video timing stabilization feature ensures the USB capture stream won’t lock up or drop, even if the HDMI input source is intermittent or is disconnected. Digital stereo audio from either HDMI (LPCM 2.0) or the 3.5mm analogue audio input (selectable within the configuration software) is captured along with the HDMI video source.
The UAC (USB Audio Class) and UVC (USB Video Class) standards are adhered to for USB capture meaning the SY-XTREAM HDMI to USB video capture recorder supports the more popular video capture, chat, and/or streaming software, including the Free Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) streaming software (available for Windows PC, macOS and Linux). Note: Availability of and access to the controllable features of the SY-XTREAM depend on the capture software used.
Powered from a USB 3.0 port, the SY-XTREAM does not require an external power supply reducing the number of cables to manage. However, when connected via USB 2.0 a Y-cable is required in order to deliver the necessary power.
