The XA-3P Portable HDMI Pattern Generator tester provides an all-encompassing high-end cable tester and analyser of all HDMI signal path, sink and source. The XA-3P is HDMI2.0a & HDCP2.2 & 1.4 compliant for greater test versatility with several testing features under its' belt; cable testing, system analysing, EDID management and pattern generator, the XA-3P also enables down-scaling 4K UHD to 1080p in Analyser Mode.
An important feature in the XA-3P is the Cable Testing Mode which, when used in this mode, can detect the data rate capacity of up to 18Gbps on any cable used in an installation to ensure its viability. The XA-3P LCD screen will display the results or this can be seen on a connected display whilst testing.
Although battery operated for greater ease & portability for installers, the front panel controls are easy to navigate and simple to use with easy access to the HDMI I/O on the top of the device.
The battery for the unit can be recharged via USB/mains power through the same port.
