The Architect Keypad CORE Start Reader (Wiegand 26-bit) is engineered for rapid, risk-free deployment in professional access control environments. Factory pre-configured for Wiegand 26-bit output, it connects directly to existing controllers, allowing installers and system integrators to deploy secure card-and-PIN access immediately - no software, portals, or programming required.
Featuring a capacitive keypad, the reader supports PIN-only or card-plus-PIN authentication, enabling higher security policies for sensitive areas. Combined with MIFARE DESFire EV3 credentials and STid Mobile ID virtual cards, it provides strong protection against cloning, interception, and relay attacks using AES encryption, Secure Messaging EV2, and Proximity Check technologies
Built on STid’s open CORE architecture, the reader eliminates vendor lock-in while protecting long-term investment. As site requirements evolve, the device can be upgraded to CORE Plus or CORE Pro functionality without replacing hardware, making it ideal for scalable, multi-site access control deployments.
