The March Networks EL5 Motorized Turret Camera is a high-performance 5MP AI-powered network camera designed for reliable surveillance in demanding indoor and outdoor environments. Combining intelligent video analytics with a rugged vandal-resistant housing, the EL5 delivers clear imaging, dependable night visibility and flexible coverage for modern security deployments.
Motorized Zoom and Remote Focus
A defining feature of the EL5 Motorized Turret is its 2.7–13.5 mm motorized lens with 5× optical zoom, allowing installers and operators to remotely adjust zoom and focus without physically accessing the camera. This makes it easy to fine-tune the field of view during installation or adapt coverage as monitoring requirements change. The ability to move from wide-area monitoring to detailed close-up views provides greater flexibility than fixed-lens cameras.
Reliable Outdoor Performance
Designed for harsh environments, the EL5 features a rugged IK10-rated metal housing with IP66/IP67 weather protection, ensuring reliable operation in challenging conditions. With an operating temperature range of -30°C to +60°C, the camera is suitable for year-round outdoor use in locations such as retail storefronts, parking areas, transportation hubs and industrial sites.
Clear Imaging Day and Night
A powerful 5MP CMOS sensor captures detailed video at up to 30 frames per second, delivering clear footage for monitoring and investigation. WDR Pro technology balances challenging lighting conditions such as shadows and backlighting, while Smart IR illumination provides up to 30 metres of night visibility with automatic intensity adjustment to prevent overexposure.
Intelligent Video Analytics
Built-in AI-powered analytics help security teams quickly detect activity and reduce false alarms. Supported analytics include intrusion detection, loitering detection, line crossing alerts, unattended object detection, missing object detection and crowd detection.
Efficient and Flexible Deployment
The EL5 Motorized Turret also supports full-duplex audio with a built-in microphone, H.265 compression with Smart Stream III for reduced bandwidth usage, and edge storage up to 1TB for local recording.
